This is a MUST for any intentional leader...an investment of pace and time that yields an incredible ROI...a pursuit that builds up both sides of relation based leadership! Bravo, PastorJon!!

I very much agree with those thoughts. We can slow down only if we have less daily must to dos.

In my humble opinion, this is your best article thus far, Pastor!

Albeit, it could be simply because I'm currently reading a SUPER good book, (very slowly, I might add, Lolol), about relationships in the body of Christ. So I've been pondering on this very topic for a hot minute now...

Thank you so very much. Excellent thoughts!

I am enjoying the topic of "be a noticer."

As I have been praying through this season, I have "noticed" several things which I'm hoping will result in my character growth.

#1) even for those of us that take pride in being self-aware and socially astute, we are still human and we do miss things, even things we are looking for, trying to notice. As I see others doing this, I have to assume, if other do it, I probably do as well.

This can cause a wrong perception of certain situation, which the enemy takes advantage of in causing hurts on both sides of the aisle.

#2) I'm learning that human perspectives are never, ever as good as Father God's!! But I need to ask Him for His perspective and be open-minded to the fact that my judgments on a certain situation could be faulty due to my own filter of how I am processing a situation, even if I do notice all the asoects of my surroundings. That takes humility, even in a moment of perceived pain.... which can be difficult to do when I am hurting.

Thus, asking for Father God's TRUTH and HIS deeper perspective is always, always a MUST before jumping to conclusuons.

Being a noticer definitely takes a partnership with our best friend, the precious, beautiful Holy Spirit to be our eyes and ears!
