Could not agree more. When healthy people feel safe to disagree with a leader it indicates a strong, confident, healthy, leader. When a leader is not willing to "ask" for people to give them their opinion when they disagree it is a sign of either a weak leader with little confidence, or a leader who is so narcissistic they refuse to listen to anyone. Strong leaders want to be challenged in a healthy way by people they trust and know they want the leader and the organization to succeed. Surround yourself with people that are also wise, proven, strong and will help you succeed by challenging you and fully supporting you.
I love it, that’s surrounding yourself with healthy people. Constructive criticism can be difficult to hear but if it’s received well it can turn into plump fruit. I love leaders who offer that opportunity, everyone has blond spots. Love your humility pastor.

I recently re-started a habit that I used to abide by for my devos. I read the chapter # in Proverbs corresponding to the date.
Yesterday was November 28th so I read Proverbs 28.
I was surprised to see that even the scriptures discuss the topic of "Yes men" probably more than once, however....Proverbs 28:23.
You probably already knew that Pastor, but I just thought I'd share my surprise find with you.
Have a blessed day.
This video reminds me of the acronym R.A.R.E Leaders:
R. - Remain relational
A. - Act like yourself
R. - Return to joy
E. - Endure hardships well
I can see how you addressed each one of these in this video..
I enjoyed hearing your thoughts Pastor, thank you for shating. Appreciate you.
Blessings,
