The more success we have the more we must remember that God opened the doors, God gave us peace to move forwards on decisions, God was with us, leading us all the way. Don't fall prey to the world and think you did it. God deserves the credit. We just got to be a part of the victory!

Gratitude...

I was reading something this morning that mentioned the hymn, "Count Your Many Blessings."

That led my mind, eventually, to how in April of 2016, I prayed a prayer similar to: "God, I know I'm not where I need to be, but I have no idea how to get from where I am, to where You are, please help me, show me the way, please!"

OH. MY. GOODNESS...

FATHER GOD has gotten me from where I was, to where I am now,.... to a place of deep, deep healing and joy, walking in victory!!

All glory be to Father God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. It took the whole gang to pull me from that pit. But Psalm 18:19 is my favorite verse right now. It says that HE pulled me from the pit, BECAUSE HE DELIGHTS IN ME.

Wow!! He is an awesome God.

Praise the Lord!!

Ive often said that maintaining humility will lead to a more effective response and recovery from the humbling situation, always lurking and waiting to greet you. Nobody is immune to them.

Put yourself at the bottom and God will raise you up in front of all. Put yourself up front and God will humble you in front of all! ( my interpretation)

I'd rather humble myself than be humbled by God!

Matthew 23:10-12

12 For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.

Thank you for sharing this. As I look back these last twenty years of my life, it scares me to think how my life would be different if I wouldn’t have given steps of obedience. Even though I was the one that made those choices, I know it was and is all because of Him. As a leader I am learning that even though we are having good results and we are moving forward, to have the mindset of, “it is all because of Him” will keep me focus on the one thing Jesus is interested on saving, to save my own soul. Leadership is temporary but my relationship with Him I want it to be for all eternity.
