A friend of mine, David Stroud, just released a book entitled, The Greatest Ability is Availability. In it he writes about the importance of fully, being there. It is so easy to separate the task and productivity from the people. What I heard when I read this article is a genuine love for the people leading the ministry, and not simply a passion for leadership itself. I’m wondering if operating at a 10 begins with loving one another?
Great article Jon. In all honesty, the reason my wife and I attend Victory, not only the fundamentals of the worship which we love, but because of you. Love and respect your demeanor, you're as genuine as they come. You have The gift of presentation, of being genuinely present in the moment, one can tell when others are scripted. I'm going to be honest, and I get it, you're spread thin, but when you're not preaching, you're missed. We love you brother.
Proximity is the same principle as gathering with others believers. Could “Remote” Christianity be considered an oxymoron?
Indeed it could!!
People tend to follow those who are passionate.
