You might feel thankful—but if you don’t say it, it never lands.
Today, pick one person—just one—and thank them for something specific. Not generic. Not vague. Something meaningful.
“Thanks for always being the one who keeps things steady when it gets chaotic.”
“Thanks for stepping in yesterday—I noticed, and it mattered.”
Gratitude unspoken is appreciation lost. When you verbalize what you value, you multiply it.
So go ahead—interrupt your own day with a little honor. It’ll cost you 30 seconds, and it might make someone’s week.
YES!! So incredibly important. I was just reading Psalm 50:14-15, 23 yesterday. Gratitude is the on ramp to JOY. YIPPEE!!
I am very thankful for your oversight at church, Pastor. You have an ability to see and be mindful of many different situations and perspectives all at the same time. Thank you, it is appreciated!!
